Welcome!

Well, I thought that creating a blog would keep everyone updated on the wedding planning status as well as be a fun activity for me. We'll see how this goes - this new adventure in cyberspace and relationship status. I think it will be fun, but we will certainly see!

So, status update:

• Ceremony site - booked
• Reception site w/ catering - booked
• Officiate - booked
• Photographer - booked (but will follow up on Tuesday - my bday!! - to make sure)
• Wedding Dress - picked w/ 1st fitting on Wednesday!!
  
• Bridesmaid dresses - picked & need to send email to b-maids with ordering info. (see photo and website)

• Bridesmaid gifts - already bought (I felt an itch to go shopping, so I decided to be productive!)
• DJ - delegated to Groom (possible misstep, may take over)
• Florist - found

Only 348 days to go and progress in the planning process has been great! I feel really good about how much Erik and I have accomplished since June 26 (when we got engaged!)

Now to deal with that pesky thing called law school...
