Survey Says . . .

Blog it is! Here are the results from the latest poll (thanks to those that took the time to vote!):
Blogs are the way to go! : 37%
Formal wedding websites are better for guests: 6%
Both are necessary: 24%
Ambivalent either way: 31%
Now, I count the "ambivalent either way" in with being pro-blog, so that's an overwhelming majority favoring the blog. Now I know that technically, the data is skewed because the people voting on the blog are probably not necessarily the people that will get confused and have a hard time finding details about the wedding. But because it goes along with what I wanted to do anyway, that's how I'm interpreting it! Actual statistical analysis be damned!

Also, Erik was able to edit the HTML of the webpage and make the "details for guests" more obvious. See the right side of the page. He did a good job, huh? I now no longer feel the burning need to have a fancy website. Nevertheless, I appreciate my friends who shared their own dilemma stories and love their websites. I just think I'll stick with this one and hope that Great Aunt Pat or Grandma doesn't mind. Chances are they won't be getting their wedding information from the web, but then again you never know (See this blog for an example).

Erik is also now a registered writer for the blog. He asked me for the permissions (website permissions, not my permission). I'm excited that he wants to be more involved. I guess he sees the fun I have sharing wedding stuff with all of you and he wants to do the same! Slightly narcissitic of us both, but you know, that's the blogging world it seems.
