February Photo a Day: Button

I thought about a couple of options for today. My mouse button (representing what I do ALL day), the tv remote button (representing my preferred method of relaxation), talking the oral hygienist at my dentist's office to let me take a picture of a button on one of the many devices they prodded me with today (representing the obvious)...

But a vision of brilliance struck me:

Yes, that is to an elliptical machine.
I have been working out consistently 4-6 times per week since the first week of January.  I look forward to it every day when I'm studying.  If my body feels overly sore or tired, I skip it.  I've been doing 2 days a week of the stair machine (you know, the one where you just walk up actual stairs.  If you haven't tried it, it is an INCREDIBLE workout and you can kiss cellulite bye-bye), hot yoga on Fridays (at this awesome yoga studio a mile from my apt.), and Physique 57 DVDs 2 days a week. I also mix in a day of light cardio for 45 minutes on the elliptical, which was my workout today. I've also switched out one of these days with hikes with E.

I saw this on Pinterest and it made the following assertion: It takes 4 weeks for you to notice a difference in your body, 8 weeks for your friends to notice and 12 weeks for everyone else to notice.  I would say that it took me 6 weeks to notice a difference.  This probably has a lot to do with the fact I wear sweatpants/ other workout clothes EVERY DAY (Erik has started complaining in a joking way) and that I haven't lost any weight. Perhaps if I were wearing actual clothes, I would notice more of a difference.  I will say that I wore skinny jeans last weekend that I had been avoiding for a few months... So there's that. I will also say that that cellulite problem I bitched about over 6 months ago is quickly remedying itself. Seriously P57 and that stair climber thing (and not eating out and eating healthier and working out 5x a week) is really working!
