Moving to Cali: Park City --> Reno

Because I promised I would do blogposts on MWFs and because I'm in the middle of crunch time for the bar, you get a picture post.  Here are some photos from our move out West, Park City, Utah to Reno, Nevada.  These are just of the drive because our adventure in Reno deserves its own post. :)

To get to Reno from Park City we had to go through some mountains.  Little did we know that the rest of the drive was going to be FLAT and rather boring. Love the fall colors.  Totally missed those this year.

The Great Salt Lake

Pericles got to look out the window for a bit.

Apparently an art installation by a Swedish artist. Gotta love google. I seriously put in "tree with balls salt lake city" and found that website. Amazing and kind of creepy.

Salt can do nasty things. We know this well from Erik's car. When we got here, we took it to the shop and the mechanics had never seen rusting that bad.  The funny part is that it wasn't that bad; it just doesn't happen out here.

I'm such a dork.

We are officially in our new time zone. Too bad all our friends are now 2 and 3 hours ahead of us.
